I’m happy to share this cute 3 layer flower free crochet pattern. It’s super easy to do and it works up in just minutes.
This easy Triple Layer Flower was originally designed for my Princess Sara Crochet Baby Dress, but you can use it to embellish any of your designs. It will make a really nice embroidered flower for any of your projects.

No need to say that the easiest thing to crochet for a beginner is a flower. And I’m going to show you how you can crochet a 3 Layer Flower step-by-step.
Whether you need a cute flower for your latest project (you can add it to anything: bag, baby dress, headband, hat, bags, etc.) or for your next gift, after a few minutes you will have your very own flowers with three layers.
Let’s get started…
Skill level: Medium
Materials / Supplies:
- A crochet hook (I used 3.mm).
- A very small amount of worsted weight yarn (wool or cotton).
- Stitch markers (for beginners).
- Yarn Needle (to weave in ends).
- ch – chain.
- st/sts – stitch/stitches.
- sl st – slip stitch.
- sc – single crochet.
- hdc – half double crochet
- dc – double crochet
- If the number is written before the stitch 2 hdc work 2hdc into the same stitch. If the number is written after the stitch hdc 2 work hdc into next 2 stitches.
- Repeat what is written in the () as many times as it’s written right after the (). For example: Repeat (2hdc, hdc1) 5 times. It means that you have to repeat the sequence work 2 hdc sts into the same st. 1 hdc into the next one 5 times. And you will get 5 additional stitches by doing that.
