I have a few more ideas on how you may want to incorporate this cute crochet heart pattern. You can add a beautiful heart garland in the baby’s room. Or perhaps you’ve just crocheted a baby headband, a hat, or even a baby girl dress? If so, just add this beautiful heart to your latest project!

  1. Crochet baby dress set.
  2. Crochet baby blanket.
  3. Princess Sara baby outfit.

It’s a beginner-friendly pattern, if you know double crochet, you are all set.

I hope you like it, let’s start (and have fun).

Materials / Supplies:
You will need :

  • ch– chain.
  • st/sts-stitch/stitches.
  • sl st-slip stitch.
  • sc-single crochet.
  • dc-double crochet.
  • trc-treble crochet.

Pattern Notes:

-If the number is written before the stitch 2 hdc work 2hdc into the same stitch. If the number is written after the stitch hdc 2 work hdc into next 2 stitches.

-Repeat what is written in the () as many times as it’s written right after the (). For example: Repeat (2hdc, hdc1) 6 times. It means that you have to repeat the sequence work 2 hdc sts into the same st. 1 hdc into the next one 5 times. And you will get 5 additional stitches by doing that.

-At the end of each round/row please count how many sts do you have at the end of that round/row.

We will start with the small heart and you will make it bigger in the next rows.

Small Heart

Begin with a slip knot and Ch 3 (you can make Ch 4), and slip stitch in the first ch. Now we made a small circle. Round 1: Make Ch 3, and trc 3, dc 4, trc, dc 4, trc 3, Ch 3, all in the circle, and slip st in the circle too.= (15) sts.

Medium Heart

If you want bigger than this, you should make another row. Round 2: Make sc 2 in the ch space, and add your marker in the first st, make 3 dc in the next 3 sts, dc in the next 3 sts, 2 dc in the same next st, (dc, trc, dc) in the same next st, 2 dc in the same next st, dc in the next 3 sts, 3 dc in the next 3 sts, sc 2 in the ch space, sl st in the first st.=(35) sts.

Large Heart

Round 3: In the same st make sc, sc in the next 2 sts, 2 dc in the next 8 sts, dc in the next 6 sts, Ch 1, trc in the next st, Ch 1, dc in the next 6 sts, 2 dc in the next 8 sts, sc in the next 3 sts, sl st to join.=(53). Fasten off.

Here are the beautiful hearts.
