As you may already know, I absolutely love baby designs because they’re so cute. I can crochet a couple of these designs after school in the afternoon, or before going to bed, after my homeworks. Sometimes, I just crochet non-stop during the weekend…

Although I’m still at school, I’m super busy, and I really love these quick and easy projects, especially during fall and winter.

I posted a cute crochet bow headband two weeks ago, and I decided that I was going to crochet more of these.

Plus this easy crochet ear warmer is perfect for beginners because it’s made with THE BASIC CROCHET STITCHES, chains and double crochet stitches.

These headbands use very little yarn, and everyone like them. You can make them for babies, children or adults. So I’ll show you how you can make those cute ear warmers in any size.

This nice crochet ear warmer is a perfect handmade gift for your next baby shower. It will make an amazing and memorable baby girl gift, and you can be sure that baby and mom will love you for that. Hey, I’m sure mom will want one (even if she doesn’t tell anything), so you may want to do one for her as well! Why not? They are quick and easy to do. Even better, you can do a matching headband for her!

Skill level: Easy – Beginner

Can I make it in any size?

Yes, you can make or customize it for any size. You should have a tape measurement, and measure your head circumference. You can make chains and measure your head circumference with chains. For example I made 90 chains for head circumference = 56cm / 22 inches (adults), but when you measure it with a tape measure without a stretch the result is 53 cm / 20 inches.

Crochet Ear Warmer Pattern Free:

Start with chains = head circumference – 3 cm (1 inches), I made 90 chains. Sl st in the last stitch from the hook.

Round 1: ch 2, sc in the same st, sc around, sl st in the 2nd ch to join. (90 sts).

Round 2: ch 2, turn your work, and hdc in back loop only around, sl st to join. (90 sts).

Round 3-9: ch 2, turn your work, and hdc in back loop only around, sl st to join. (90 sts).

Round 10: ch 1, turn your work, and sc in back loop only around, sl st to join. (90 sts).

Leave a long tail to wrap with it. Fasten off.

Now wrap with the tail 2 time in the middle of the headband, then tie a small knot in the back of the headband and cut the ends.

That’s it!
